Chain4Energy Takes On Cosmoverse 2023: Highlights from Istanbul

This year’s Cosmoverse conference in the historic city of Istanbul was nothing short of spectacular, and our very own CEO, Dominik Skrobacz, and CIO, Grzegorz Sikora, were right at the heart of it all. As we unpack our experiences, let’s delve into the major announcements and highlights of the event.

Cosmoverse 2023

Nestled at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Istanbul, with its rich tapestry of history and vibrant culture, played the perfect host to the luminaries of the blockchain world at the Cosmoverse conference. The 3rd edition of Cosmoverse has anchored its focus on the ever-evolving landscape of blockchain interoperability, with a keen emphasis on scalability, interoperability, and privacy in the crypto sphere, bringing business into the chain.
As Cryptocito described it:

Most Attended ✅

Most Productive ✅

Most Announcements ✅

The organizers confirmed it on X, too— this year’s conference had almost 2 times bigger attendance.

Spreading the C4E magic

Chain4Energy team shined, passionately sharing their deep knowledge and insights. They illuminated fresh Electric Vehicle (EV) use-cases, showcasing the transformative potential of these innovations for a sustainable future. The spotlight also shone brightly on c4e’s blockchain development, highlighting the game-changing prospects of decentralizing energy systems.

At the next Cosmoverse we definitely would like to use our C4E app to charge the EVs and thanks to our C4E approach it won’t matter where the Cosmoverse will be — we are creating a borderless solution that can work in many jurisdictions.

With attendees from across the globe tuned in, the team eloquently laid out their future steps, setting the stage for an intersection of energy, technology, and blockchain in the years to come.

Catching Up with Old Friends and Making New Ones

Beyond the exhilarating announcements, Cosmoverse 2023 was a reunion of sorts. We had the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with key figures from the Cosmos realm, including Sunny in his Byzantine glory but also many of the partners, C4E validators and key Cosmos figures.

Cosmos news: Stride Zone Proposes Merging with Cosmos Hub

In a groundbreaking announcement, Stride Zone has proposed a merger with the Cosmos Hub. This development, if realized, could usher in a new era of blockchain connectivity and efficiency within the Cosmos ecosystem.

Cosmos news: Circle’s Game-Changing Move with Noble

One of the standout moments from the conference was when Circle, the issuer of USDC, revealed its plans to implement its cross-chain transfer protocol (CCTP) with Noble, a token protocol rooted in the Cosmos ecosystem. Demonstrated live on the Cosmoverse main stage, Circle’s engineering director, Marcus Boorstin, showcased the potential of CCTP by conducting a USDC transfer from Avalanche to Noble using Metamask in a testnet environment.

This marked a historic first as it’s the inaugural integration of CCTP with a non-Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain. Boorstin’s emphasis on the groundbreaking nature of this collaboration was palpable. Moreover, Noble’s co-founder, Jelena Djuric, spotlighted the sheer simplicity of the design, hinting at the user-friendly approach with “basically one-click” USDC transfers.

Cosmos news: Osmosis to support Real World use cases

Osmosis is about to launch smart contract account (account abstraction) to support Real World use cases. C4E is happy to take advantages of the feature which is crucial for the Real World user adoption e.g. EVConnect users onboarding.

Closing Thoughts

Cosmoverse 2023 was a melting pot of innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking. Chain4Energy is excited to be part of this dynamic ecosystem, and we’re keen to harness the potential of these advancements for a more connected and efficient blockchain future.
